Is something holding you back from the life you deserve?

If you have been following me for a while, you have probably heard me talk about EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).  It is a simple tool that you can do to help with emotional healing and potential blocks that may be preventing you from moving forward toward the life you deserve.

From an early age we are all subject to conditional programming through society, parents, educators, events, traumas, etc.  This mental programming can dictate the choices we make, the fears we have and the perceptions we see, thus creating the life we are currently living.  Ask yourself these questions:

  •  Are you completely happy and satisfied with your life?
  • Are you thriving or are you living with regrets?
  • Are there certain events, beliefs, or deep-seeded emotions from your past that are holding you back?
  • Are you even aware of how they’re limiting you today?
  • Are you doing anything to release the grip that they have over your life?

If you feel like something is holding you back from the life you really want to live, then EFT is definitely for you.

 

We all have people and events that we can think of that have caused us hurt, sometimes from decades ago, and sometimes from just days ago. That’s just the nature of life.  Often times we carry this hurt for years, not realizing how much it limits our everyday life.  Sometime we are not even aware of the blocks we carry.  EFT can help you discover issues you are holding on to so you can deal with them and move on.  Let’s face it, you can’t repair something unless you know it is broken!


How we address and process our memories, beliefs, and emotions about these events is what makes the difference in our lives. It’s what makes the difference between someone who is able to move forward with their life and see meaning in what happened, and someone who gets stuck. They constantly carry their pain, anger, resentment and other negative and limiting emotions with them throughout their life.  Can you think of someone that is sulking in the misery of their past and holding on to memories that serve no purpose?  Have you personally been stuck in this rut?


It is important and absolutely essential to move on from past hurts or trauma.  EFT is a wonderful tool to help you do that.   I used this technique to work through the mental stress of my cancer diagnosis.  I continue to use it today when I feel anxious, upset, uncertain or I discover that there is an issue or thought that is holding me back.  It is a simple technique, available at your fingertips (literally) … and it’s FREE.  Yes, I said FREE.

This technique (also referred to as “tapping”) uses a series of finger tapping points on your body and key acknowledging statements said at each tapping point.  The acknowledging statement goes something like this. “Even though I have this (fill in the blank with the problem) ______________, I completely and totally love and accept myself”.  You fill in the __________ with what you may be struggling with.  It may be finances, love, a job, a person, self confidence, health issue, etc.  This technique is so simple and can be done anywhere.  Click here for a quick overview of the tapping process and tapping points.
